- 04th April:
Just to inform you that the grades of Moed B have been forwarded to the Undergraduate Office ( Mazkirut Hasmacha).
- 30th March:
1) The grades of Moed B are available through the "Upgrade" website.
Please note, however, that at this stage, the grades are for general information only, and will become final only once re-checked and officially approved.
2) The exam's solution has been published.
- 20th March:
For those of you planning on doing MOED B, the exam will be held on Sunday 26/03/06 16:30.
Reception hours before the exam:
* Amir Rosen: Tuesday, 21st March, 12:30-13:30.
Thursday, 23rd March, 14:30-15:30.
* Moshe Twitto: Tuesday, 21st March, 15:30-17:30
* Yevgeny Perelman: Tuesday, 21st March, 18:00-20:00
- 06th March:
1) The final grades of Moed A have been uploaded to "Upgrade" system and will be available as of midnight.
The exam grades have been calculated based on the best 17 answers.
2) Hayley will be giving reception hours prior to "MOED B" during which she will be solving the "MOED A" exam.
These reception hours will be held on: Wednesday 15th March; 12:30-15:30; Fishbach 507.
Further details regarding reception hours closer to the exam will follow in the future.
- 05th March:
1) When marking the exam's correct solutions a mistake occurred. The solutions for questions 14 and 15 were switched. Please find a corrected version on the site - our aplogies.
2) Prior to "MOED B" Hayley will be giving a class where she will be solving the "MOED A" exam. If you are interested please keep updated with notices in the site or by mail.

2) Note: On Thursday 09th March the homework solutions will be removed from the course's site. Students who still want to download them before "MOED B" should please do so before that date.

SPICE Design Exercise:
Following many students' requests, we have decided to postpone the submission date and allow you to submit the SPICE Design Exercise until:
Sunday 22nd January midnight and no later.
Reminder: The Design exercise is not submitted in the course's regular cells but rather in cells dedicated for this purpose.

Due to human error some of the students' grades for homework exercise #3 were only uploaded today. One should be able to see the update in "Upgrade" by tomorrow. Should there still be any problems please contact Hayley Binia Wolman.

1) SPICE Design Exercise:
To avoid possible questions regarding the definition of "Reasonable Values" for transistor parameters please find additional information for your assistance.
2) Please note:
Yehoram Bar is the teaching assistant responsible for the SPICE Design Exercise. Please forward any questions related to this exercise to him.
His reception hours have changed.
The new reception hours are: Wed. 08:30-10:30.
3) The WORKSHOP on Tuesday 3rd December 2006 (MATKONET YOM ALEPH) is cancelled.
- 28th December:
1) Tomorrow, 29/12/06 we will be publishing the SPICE Design Exercise.
Just to remind you that this exercise is compulsory and accounts for 15% of your final grade.
Please note: The Design exercise is not submitted in the course's regular cells but rather in cells dedicated for this purpose.
2) Homework 7 - question 2 - clarification:
For DC calculation - the channel-length modulation effect doesn't seem to change much and therefore can be neglected.
(However, in ac calculations don't forget to calculate r0 using Lambda).

Homework exercise #2, SPICE question clarification:
There is a discrepancy between the SPICE and associated theoretical question in this homework.
A revised version of the SPICE question.
Due to our mistake, the submission date has been postponed to Sunday 27th November 2005 - 12:00 PM (midday).
Please note - this postponement will not affect further homework exercises.
For those of you who have already finished your SPICE exercise, if you submit the exercise as is, we will accept it.
However, you should note that in this case your solutions for the SPICE and theoretical question will differ.

Use KT/q = 25mV.

In Homework exercise #2 question #1 clause #5:
The non linear component should be inserted in the circuit in place of the diode.
It's direction should be such that the potential in the component's A connector is higher than that at its B connector.
